{"id":7517,"date":"2025-09-11T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T08:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sussexmindfulnesscentre.nhs.uk\/?p=7517"},"modified":"2025-09-11T09:00:00","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T08:00:00","slug":"compassion-the-power-to-transform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/c7e2aacb9051b30202798f9fa2bc3e71-10970.sites.k-hosting.co.uk\/staging\/2025\/09\/11\/compassion-the-power-to-transform\/","title":{"rendered":"Compassion: The Power to Transform, conference 15 May 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">We are excited to announce the date and theme of our next annual conference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sussex Mindfulness Centre&#8217;s 12th annual conference will explore compassion and it&#8217;s ability to create change from the personal to the global.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference will take place on 15 May 2026, at the Friend&#8217;s Meeting House in Brighton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The theme of the conference is: &#8220;How can compassion help to transform: our own difficult experiences; tricky relationships (with family, friends and colleagues); challenging workplaces (especially in the NHS\/NHS teams) and crises in wider society and globally (such as conflict, political\/social divides, climate change).&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have some special speakers and workshop facilitators lined up to help us explore this topic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tickets will go on sale on 27 October 2025, when we will announce the full line up of speakers and workshops.
